“Remember, men will bet their lives on the work you do."

Just as no single club in a golf bag is suitable for all situations of the game, much is the same in precision tactical shooting.  LongRifles, Inc. answers this need by offering three models of tactical rifles; the Urban, Medium, and Heavy.

These rifles undergo extensive internal modification to improve durability and performance. They are not target rifles masked by a coat of black paint; they are purpose built weapon systems made for the purpose of saving lives in the high threat environment.

All of our rifles are pillar bedded using proprietary bedding processes that results in an accurate receiver casting and showroom quality presentation. Aerospace and tool-room grade materials are used to manage weight without sacrificing strength, durability, or performance. Action blueprinting, barrel fitting, and other machine work is a careful application of well established machining practices that ensures features and operating systems function properly.

The end result is a rugged and accurate platform that delivers reliable and predictable performance anywhere in the world.

Urban Tactical:

These rifles take advantage of the close quarter engagement typical of the urban environment by using a shortened barrel to facilitate rapid deployment. They are typically chambered in manageable cartridges that mitigate over penetration and collateral risk.

Medium Tactical:

A standard size rifle that weighs in the 12-14lb range depending on what optics is chosen.  These rifles are typically chambered in higher performance cartridges that are effective out to 1 kilometer. These are what may be considered as the “pack mules” of precision tactical shooting.

Heavy Tactical:

The use of heavy magnum or “boomer” type calibers is becoming ever more popular because of their effectiveness to mitigate threats from safe stand-off distances. These rifles are designed to engage targets at distances that can exceed one mile when in capable hands. Common characteristics are large, magnum length actions, long winded heavy contour barrels, and full size stocks with adjustable hardware tailored for prone and/or supported shooting positions.

Recoil has a definite impact on operator performance during training and sustained rates of fire during operations.  LongRifles Inc. answers this need by using devices that manage abuse to the shooter while observing the need to minimize dust and auditory signatures.
